Have you purchased a VK688-100 after 8/1/2020, then this is the oil cooler you will need. If you purchased a VK688-100 before 8/1/2020, you will need this: 6.0L Oil Cooler
This package includes a new oil cooler and the necessary seals for oil cooler replacement on the VK688-100. This cooler is only applicable to VK688-100 packages purchased after 8/1/2020.

Needed a replacement oil cooler for my 6.0 relocation kit. Oil cooler worked fine until I hooked up my 5th wheel RV. Oil temp/coolant temp delta was 30 degrees. Replaced cooler and my deltas are back down to 6 degrees when towing. Hope this replacement lasts longer than the original, only got 25k miles out of that one. On the plus side, it only took half an hour to replace the oil cooler and that includes the time it took to drain and replace the coolant.

I recently purchased this for my 2016 F350 with over 90,000 miles on the stock oil cooler. The install was straight forward. I was pleased with the OEM replacement gaskets supplied with the kit. With the stock cooler, I would have to sit in my driveway at idle for two to four minutes to allow the turbo and oil temp to drop down to 190 degrees before shut off. I was also averaging 199 to 204 degree temps around town for city driving. With the BulletProof cooler my temps literally drop to 190 by the time I get to my driveway which is about a mile off the highway. My city temps have went down to 195 to 198. If I stop at a traffic light it will go all the way down to 190 in the time it takes the light to cycle.
I know it is not a drastic drop but it definitely improved my temps.

Well worth the money. Made replacing much easier and less time consuming. Just wish it had lasted longer . Only just over two yrs and only 120K miles.
