Aluminum Gets Hot

This is a great set of products. The water pump is a far cry better than the OEM plastic impellers product. The switch to the mechanical fan clutch was great, however, the fan clutch wiring harness just dangles there now with no dummy plug to cap it off. Also don't see why this comes with the metal clip for the fan clutch harness, since there is nothing to plug it in with. No instructions are provided to bridge that gap of understanding, but I did get my PS line scissors and they worked great. Last thing is to be careful with the aluminum radiator as there is no heat protection on the top. It gets very hot and is very easy to accidentally touch it when looking at the engine for leaks, etc.

Quality

Product is as advertised and good quality. Just installed this weekend so time will tell. Products come with minimal / no instructions but install is fairly straight forward.
If you are doing this yourself and do not have a spare vehicle…make sure you check that the transmission oil cooler scissors are in the box before you start. Mine was not shipped with any. If the scissors were with it, would of been 5 stars.

If I could review it less then 1 star I would

The radiator in this kit is junk no more then a stock one replacement except no plastic end tanks then let’s move on to the trans cooler side of it the bottom end tank there was a 6in section on mine that had to be welded why cause it failed there and just gonna weld it up and call it good? Oh they must of forgot to put the trans cooler in the radiator as well cause on the bottom end tank there’s a cut out that was welded back in assuming to put the trans cooler in and then the trans cooler itself is like 1inx1in like how is that big enough not to mention mine is not attached in any way shape or form. 500 dollar value for what this thing is a heap of shit. Would of been better off keeping my stock radiator. This thing really is a heap of shit good thing It was leaking when pressure checking the system before it ended up costing me a trans down the road and these guys won’t even make it right and refund me for the radiator last time I’ll ever ever ever spend another dollar of my money at bullet proof diesel.
