As described these are the same Navistar re-manufactured injectors that the Ford Dealer has, I have a buddy who works at a local Ford and we compared the parts. About half the cost and the only thing you dont get is the 2 year labor replacement warranty that Ford offers in addition to the 2 year part warranty that Bulletproof also provides. After doing the job I am confident that I could replace an injector in the field with the tools I keep on the truck if ever needed. I kept the 2 best looking and performing old injectors and found a closeout on a factory injector O ring kit for 8 on the internet for that emergency repair that likely wont ever be needed anyway. Repair went smoothly and all required parts were there. There are 2 valve cover bolts and two oil rail bolts on the passenger side that are tough but if you remove the inner fender and carefully tape a torx bit to a wrench for the two rail bolts its not that bad.(take your time maybe cover the oil return holes with rags, DO NOT LET ANYTHING FALL INTO THE ROCKER BOX!! and you'll be a happy mechanic) I also pro actively installed the expensive but apparently one of a kind 6 phase FICM PSU (I Should have gotten it in Blue for the few extra bucks). It makes little sense not to upgrade/replace standpipes while out, even if they are the latest design. Mine were the first version anyway and, with the new injectors, standpipes and FICM 6Phase PSU I get 2 second starts both hot and cold. Noticeably faster starting than it was when I bought the truck at 93k miles. Its at almost 200k now and starts like new. Last year I installed Bulletproofs external oil cooler kit and billet pump. Will be towing for the first time since all the upgrades in the next month. And its neat seeing the oil temp 8 to 10 degrees Cooler than the Water temp. My Only complaint is that Bulletproof only offers Fed-EX which is terrible in the two areas of the country where I live: Southern NH/Northeast Massachusetts and Rural Georgia. I routinely pay extra for UPS /USPS when I have an option for delivery. Even though Fed-ex Stinks post Fred Smith, Bulletproof was as helpful as they could have been , even offering a refund while it was stuck in Fed-Ex hell so I could get the parts from the dealer If I wanted to get it done in the time I had allocated based on the original Fed-Ex delivery time. The last thing to do is probably going to be ARP studs, head gaskets, and an HPOP, kinda out of order from a disassembly standpoint and probably and tougher than the upgrades so far. While there are several options for kits like this from other vendors, I would not hesitate to buy from Bulletproof Diesel again (they got the name first right?). But, I'll try Fed-Ex pickup over delivery next time Fed-Ex shipping is the only option from a vendor. Fed-Ex Ground uses contractors who ignore shipping labels and clear posted English signs as to which door to deliver to. Last year the Oil cooler kit box was damaged with a small hole in the side resulting in a missing fitting (BPD overnight-ed the part when I realized it was missing). And some of the Staff at the local Fed-Ex locations are cranky especially management types. look up the fed ex reviews in your area. I don't usually, but check out yelp for fed ex zip code 03079. That manager guy is still there, and I've posted none of those reviews. I briefly left the counter area when returning the Cores This year as he walked over with a scowl. I almost used a drop box but wanted proof of return to Fed-Ex. He doesn't know me from Adam, he just seems to hate his job. I'm gonna leave his name out for my review. Dan at that Fed-Ex was very helpful this time though.
