2003 F250 6.0

Finally, a radiator that works. I went through 2 prior new radiators, 1 from a1 auto, the other from NAPA. One leaked by the drainage neck, the other had stripped threads. Bulletproofdiesel took the win on this, double boxed, was surprisingly light, solid, and installed it with no issues at all. I'll shop here for now on.

Sturdy radiator

Definitely go all aluminum with these trucks for the radiator much better quality than the cheap plastic ones from auto parts stores. Glad I spent the extra $50 to get something better through bullet proof diesel.

5 star radiator, 1 star shipping by FedEx.

This is a 5 star radiator all day long. Original radiator started leaking at just under 200k miles and I was taking the truck on a long trip soon. OEM style radiators with plastic tanks were available locally for about $100 less than this one. Since I plan to drive the truck for many more years, and this radiator had free shipping, it seemed worth the wait and extra expense. Replacement could be a quick easy job but my trans cooler lines were tough to get loose and I didn't want to damage them. The job took me about two hours due to waiting for PB Blaster to soak in several times. Otherwise easy in and out. Everything connected back up as it was supposed to. Not long afterwards I drove the truck 850 miles through the mountains in 80 degree weather. Coolant temp gauge on the dash has almost always stayed dead center once warmed up. Aftermarket trans temp gauge read 160 when in the past it may have been around 170 under such conditions. Free shipping was by FedEx and was a major source of stress and aggravation. The package made it from AZ to a sorting facility close to my house soon enough but then every time it would be out for delivery there was an 'operational delay' so rescheduled for the following day. This happened multiple days in a row. I ended up going to the FedEx warehouse 5 days after my original delivery date and picking up the radiator in person. The people I talked to had no explanation for the operation delays.
