BulletProof 6.0L-to-7.3L Fan Clutch Adapter

• Converts from Electronic OEM Fan Clutch to Mechanical Operation
• Works only with 7.3L Fan Clutch from 1997

• This adapter is compatible with the 1997 7.3L Ford fan clutch ONLY. The 6.0L fan will bolt to the 1997 7.3L fan clutch.
• NOT compatible with VT365
• A soft-code means that the computer will set a code that will appear if scanned, but will not set the Check Engine light.

• The 7.3L fan clutch - when retrofitted to the 6.0L diesel trucks/vans - engages or “locks up” at a cooler temperature (as low as 200°F) and will likely stay engaged longer than the factory computer controlled fan clutch.  As a result of this added engine load and increased fan clutch engagement, there may be a noticeable drop in overall fuel economy.  

  Also, because this fan clutch setup is much more active or engaged more often than the factory setup, you will likely notice more 'fan' noise from the engine compartment.  If additional fan noise from the engine compartment is a concern for you, this adaption is not for you.

  If you are looking for maximum cooling capacity, improved air conditioning performance, cooler engine temperatures while towing, and aren't concerned with the additional fan noise, this is a great option.
