Description
A mechanical fan clutch and fan clutch adapter allows you to install a non-electrical fan clutch on the Ford 6.0L diesel!
This combination of Hayden mechanical fan clutch and BulletProof fan adapter allow you to use a 6.0L fan blade assembly with a mechanical/thermal fan clutch. This combination works very well for those that require heavy duty cooling needs.
Please note - that installation of a mechanical fan clutch does NOT set a check engine light. It will set a "soft code" (the code is stored in the computer) but no check engine light will be turned on.

03 f350 6.0 dually… the 7.3 clutch with adapter cools my truck better than the stock ecm controlled clutch ever did. Ive been cooking my internals for years. Before id see spikes of 218-225 deg just towing 5k lbs. I just got back towing 900 miles in Texas dragging 9500 lbs, water temps were 190/ 195. Fan is a little loud, ac never worked better though. I highly recommend. Btw- if your belt tensioner and idlers are old, id replace em. My tensioner would not hold the belt with the added fan draw. Changed it all, is better than when i drove it off the lot. Gitchasum😁
Everything is working great, fan noise is minimal even under extreme towing conditions.

This thing moves some air. Was having problem with my head pressure on ac at idle with stock clutch. Was getting close to 400psi. Installed this clutch works like a charm. Now hangs around 250 and blows cold again
