BulletProof 6.0L & 6.4L Oil Cooler Bypass Valve

BPD produced this upgraded part over the original bypass valve. It works very well. Now if they would make a drainback valve it would be a complete set.

Good product, liked that even though I ordered a relatively inexpensive thing I still got a drink koozie and some stickers, the little things I guess lol.

Like the title says, at almost $30 plus shipping its kind of pricey for what it is. Granted, NOTHING for these trucks in cheap. However, as I build my new engine I decided to address all possible issues because I want it to last trouble free for as long as possible. I put almost 300k on a stock valve with no issues, but knowing how well BPD builds their products I figured this wouldn't hurt anything and could prevent a possible issue. My stock one has close to 300k on it, and so it just seems wise to replace it with an upgraded part. Fit an finish is just like factory. Definitely a better engineered part though with the support for the entire sealing surface. Well worth it IMO.

Other than the Ludacris shipping charges to get to Canada (I shipped this to Seattle for 35 dollars and had a friend who was coming bring it with him, shipping was going to be over 150 US for what is the size of a double A battery) but once here I was able to install in minutes. Take great care removing the old parts. I took the center post out to make more room for my hands during assembly, but I left it in during disassembly so nothing would spring out and fall in the hole. I hope bulletproof considers getting retailers in Canada to supply this so the shipping isn't so high.
