Bypass Oil Filter, 10 Micron

The Bypass Oil Filter provides a second oil filter to your truck. This filter is also a part of our Bypass Oil Fitlration Kits that are available for both the Ford 6.0L and 6.4L diesels.

While the primary filter does most of the filtration your engine oil, this bypass will clean your oil much deeper than the primary filter, allowing you to capture and trap the finer bits of debris within your oil. Most primary filters have a nominal filter rating of approximately 30-50 microns. The bypass filter has a nominal filter rating of 10 microns (.0003937 inches)! That means that small, finer particles that can easily slip through the primary filter are now caught and trapped within the bypass filter.
