Description

This tool is specifically made to aid in the removal and installation of the injector pressure regulator (IPR). This new socket slides over the IPR allowing you to safely and reliably thread/unthread into place. Works with both styles of IPR valves. 3/8 inch drive.

If you've ever made the mistake of using a substandard "knuckle buster" tool, like the wrenches they sell at the 99-cent store, you know there's no substitute for a quality-made tool designed to do its job flawlessly. That's exactly what you get with this Ford 6.0 IPR removal tool. The injection pressure regulator (IPR) valve on your Ford 6.0 Powerstroke diesel engine is in a tight location, and this IPR valve socket makes getting it out easier than with any other tool. This Ford 6.0 IPR socket is used to both remove and replace the regulator valve. It works with a 3/8" square drive.

This Ford injector pressure regulator socket is designed to bottom out on the regulator hex so as not to damage the connection. There's no acceptable substitute for this Ford IPR socket if you want to save time and trouble.

Excellent tool

This tool worked perfectly for removing and replacing the IPR.
When the new IPR had been installed the wire connector was aimed down but by simply easing the tool back far enough to disengage the actual valve I was able to rotate the electrical canister so the connector was accessible.

Great for the job!!
