Description
This is our BulletProof oil cooler delete adapter plate for 6.0L Ford engines. It is intended only for build-your-own custom applications.
If you want to build your own oil cooler system, and want to know "why not buy this block and save a bunch of cash"? Here are three reasons why:
- This plate does NOT have any allowances for mounting the OEM oil filter/fuel filter assembly.
- This plate does NOT easily feed coolant into an EGR cooler. It is possible, but more difficult to do than our standard 6.0L block.
- This plate does NOT feature a built in oil pressure bypass like our standard 6.0L block does.

Rolled my own this plate is awesome. Money saver too! Popped in a low pressure drop alu stack plate radiator for 65 deer, and a 75$ oil filter and head with a bypass- oil temps hardly go over coolant now sitting in traffic- last cooler lasted 2000 miles and I gave up the idea of having to redo it again and again and risk engine damage after just putting in new heads studs st2 cam lifters pushrods and turbo times diy kit and lighting bolt- very happy that everything is manageable from the grill vs tearing the stupid top off! I also added a 3 micron bypass filter using the aux port - I wish they told you ONLY 45 degree orbs fittings work! I tried straight to 45 and it didn’t fit. Then obviously snagged an oring had a leak and had to remove intake AGAIN but all good now.
The plate itself it’s very well machined- I hit it with clear coat so the aluminum shine wd last vs getting nasty.
Very happy they offer this cos there’s no way I can drop 2.5k on the kit I’m just too broke thanks to newsom!

Great quality . Oem gasket fit well. Would be nice if you offered a prebuilt turbo feed line. Easy enough to build one though. All and all good product. From start to finish you can save some money compared to buying the full air to air kit. On the other hand if your not very handy sourcing parts or fabricating brackets and such. I’d recommend the complete kit.
